The VIA Rapid Green Line project is a new bus line planned to open in 2027–2028 that will run along the western border of Alta Vista. The bus line will run north and south along San Pedro Avenue, starting at the San Antonio International Airport, running through downtown, and ending at the Brooks Transit Center.
